When we talk about Cebu, we talk about the food, the tourist attractions, the laid-back lifestyle, and the Sinulog celebration. A common misconception about Cebu is that it is just all that. However, aside from its rich culture, scenic landscapes, and good food, Cebu is also a center for business and development in the south. There is no wonder why Cebuanos sometimes take offense on comments that seem to underestimate our beloved city. Note that when I refer to Cebu, I mostly mean Cebu City and Mandaue City which, for now, are the more developed cities in the province. By now, most of us have already seen the movie Avengers: Endgame. It's the culmination of all the other Marvel movies that has led to this cinematic masterpiece. For an MCU fan like myself, it's not everything that I had hoped for but it turned out to be the perfect ending to this decade-long series of epics. Warning: spoilers ahead . The movie was filled with great scenes that will keep the audience's jaws dropping. However, the best scene that amazed me the most was the scene during the final battle where Spiderman was trying to keep the Infinity Gauntlet away from Thanos. He was struggling to keep himself going and out of nowhere, the strong female characters, that Marvel has built up so wonderfully, were behind him to back him up. During that moment in the movie, it showed us that there were more than just the male heroes saving the day. There were strong women behind them all.
