Appreciation

  It’s always a good feeling to be appreciated for the things that you do have done and for the things that you can do. No matter how small that is, a simple but warm “Thank you” really sounds good to the ears. However, because we live in a material world, we often neglect these two simple worlds because we expect some other things that we deem more satisfying- things that we can grasp with our hands. Today, I realized the beauty of appreciation. Even the littlest effort for doing something with your own initiative can give you so much satisfaction and inspiration to do more. For the past few weeks, I have been feeling sorry for myself. I have been wondering about what I might have done wrong. Of course, I’ve been wrong a lot of times. However, it’s no longer time for me to regret. I will gain nothing from regret. It is time to be thankful. I should be thankful that I have learned about life and experienced much.
